Bullying & Harassment Online Training

Aboto has developed online training to assist organisations in establishing psychologically safe workplaces. This training complements all the other building blocks required to establish a healthy and productive workplace culture.

We have worked with professional online training experts so that we have courses that are both engaging and interactive whilst delivering important material defined by our expertise.

Where appropriate this online training can be incorporated with face to face training to maximise the return from the investment in the face to face training.

We can develop specific online modules for your organisation or modify our existing modules for your needs. Often these modifications can be relatively minor for example changing wording to align with your workplace or include links to your company documents.

A Psychologically Safe Workplace

This course is divided into two modules:

  • A Psychologically Safe Workplace – This module covers how you can be part of ensuring a safe, respectful work environment and includes the definitions of workplace bullying, harassment and unlawful discrimination.
  • What to do if you think you have been subjected to unfair treatment, bullying, harassment, or discrimination – This module looks at your options if you feel you have been subjected to workplace bullying, sexual harassment or unlawful discrimination.

The Role of the Contact Officer

This course is designed to familiarise Contact Officers, with their role and their responsibilities as the first port of call for employees who believe they are being bullied, discriminated against or sexually harassed in the workplace. It outlines the limitations of the Contact Officer role, how Contact Officers can best support employees who may be emotionally distressed, including what information to provide them with and where to obtain extra help if required.
